The largest animal shelter in Ukraine looks after over 4,000 animals, mostly dogs. Thanks to its large capacity, it continues to take in animals that are being evacuated from the frontline areas.
During the first offensive in Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, the SIRIUS animal shelter in Fedorivka was severely damaged. In addition to covering the costs of food, veterinary care and general operating costs, the Ingeborg Brudermann Foundation is also providing financial assistance for the restoration of the urgently needed outdoor enclosures.
